For a guy who once wore a paper bag over his head on the red carpet, his wedding was pretty standard, actually. According to a live-stream video, actor Shia LaBeouf married his girlfriend of roughly four years, Mia Goth, today in a Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis impersonator and assisted by a hula dancer. The strip-club-friendly décor included a smoke machine and neon lights. “Oh man,” LaBeouf can be heard saying on the live-stream (why? No clue) as the ceremony begins. He then proceeds to cry as they recite their vows, which end with the bedazzled-bodysuit-wearing Las Vegas showman asking: “Do you both agree to adopt each other’s hound dogs? To not wear your blue suede shoes in the rain? To always be each other’s teddy bears and to give each other a hunk a hunk a burning love? By the power vested in me, The King, I now pronounce you husband and wife.” After a long, passionate kiss, the newlyweds left the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel (adjacent to the Super 8) in a deluxe Caesars-branded stretch limousine.

This wild display of devotion—or performance, we’re not quite sure yet—comes after Goth was seen wearing an engagement ring early last year, just before they were caught on camera publicly screaming at one another. But hey, plenty of young couples get in fights and then run off to Las Vegas to tie the knot, right? Maybe the romance isn’t dead and this will stick—only time will tell. And if it doesn’t, at least we will always have the bizarre memory frozen in time on YouTube.
